Conscious Coaching

My name is Danielle. I am a country girl, I am married to a farmer, we have two beautiful children (our guiders and mirrors) and we live on a farm 2 hours from Adelaide. 

Six years ago, I had it all on paper. From the outside my life looked pretty damn amazing and fun. But on the inside, I suffered extreme anxiety. I was an absolute people pleaser. Had codependency issues, enmeshment, did not have a connection to myself and wasn’t spiritual at all! I lived in my head and had to be around other’s constantly to try and feel validated. My son was 4 and was very anxious also. I started looking into programmes to help him. And my self development journey began!

 Woweee, what a journey it has been… That past version of myself, honestly feels like a lifetime ago. It’s actually HARD to go back and remember what life was like back then internally, how much pain I was in, thinking that was just life and knowing no better…

So I was absolutely fascinated that there was a whole world of learning out there that I did not know about. That it could be another way and I soon became a self development junkie!

I am also a teacher. For the past 18 years (wow!) I have had the privilege of teaching students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Throughout this time, the students have taught me just as much as, if not more, than I have ever taught them. I soon learnt that without a connection with the children in my classroom, no teaching would be had. Connection is everything. 

My Coordinating in Primary School specialising in behaviour management and supporting the children from R to year 5 with additional needs, exposed one of my gifts – of winning over the ‘tough’ kids.

I discovered Holly and joined the Conscious Parenting programme 4 years ago and felt it was the missing piece I had been looking for in my teaching and at home. Since then, I have done personal coaching with Holly, attended the Happy to Whole Retreat 3 times and attended every Purpose Retreat; I have done the Soul Parenting course and two Women’s Circles with Holly. Her wisdom has played a very special role in my self development journey. 

Realising the power of learning, I have spent the past four years focusing a lot of time and energy on self development, with teaching and farm work on the side! This is when everything began to change…  I have invested in coaching, programmes and retreats from all around the world. My aim was to become the best version of myself, to become more understanding and compassionate towards others and to guide my children to this same world of awareness, consciousness, self connection and connection to Source. As I learn, I share this learning with my children and husband, and often these beautiful little hearts at 7 and 10 years, take on the learnings and lead the way for us. 

A new value I adopted this year and my next dream – is to pay it forward, as a means of giving back. Having learnt so much over the past few years to change my own health and wellbeing, the relationship with myself and my children, our whole family dynamics – I would love to pay what I have been gifted forward. To help others who are called to change. Who want to become the best version of themselves, which is all within. I want to gift others, all that has been gifted to me. 

My idea of a coach is not only to share the learnings, skills and strategies that I have learnt, but is to also be the kick up the butt accountability partner, an ally and a cheerleader. This work doesn’t come easy…. Self awareness can be confronting. Change is hard. Healing is tough. But it is always, always worth it! Having someone beside you on the journey, makes it so much easier.

I would like to be that someone that helps you find your belief when you lose your faith, to help you find clarity when you are feeling lost, to help remind you of your capacity when you forget, to install the belief that everything you need for change is within you and everything you want to create, is possible.

My next dream is to pay it forward and that’s why I am now one of The Holly Effect coaches. “When you learn, teach. When you get, give….” I can’t wait to give back.
